Biography
Alyssa Milano is the daughter of Italian-American parents Lin, a fashion designer, and Tom, a film music editor. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on December 19, 1972, Alyssa made her acting debut in the musical "Annie", beating over 1500 hopefuls to secure a role as one of the orphans. After 18 months touring with the production, Alyssa left Annie and in 1983 at the age of 10, she landed perhaps what is her most noteabe tv role on the new sitcom "Who's the Boss?" as Tony Danza's daughter, Samantha Micelli.
Alyssa has also starred in many films, including "Commando" as Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter, "Fear", "Below Utopia" and most recently in "Lady and the Tramp II" providing the voice of the character Angel. She is also a singer, and has had incredible success in Japan where many of her 5 albums went platinum.
Alyssa is currently starring in the Aaron Spelling produced tv series "Charmed" as Phoebe Halliwell.
